Formula 3: Budapest qualifying suspended due to rain

The FIA Formula 3 Qualifying session was red-flagged and not restarted due to the very wet conditions at the Hungaroring.

The session started in the rain which intensified in the opening minutes. In treacherous conditions, Lirim Zendeli and Liam Lawson both went off track at the same corner and ended up in the gravel trap. This brought out a red flag and the remaining cars returned to the pits, but having set no lap time. Shortly after, with no sign of the rain relenting, the session was suspended.

At this moment there is no new time set for Qualification. When we know more we will post an update.

Update: The Qualification will start at 19:05 local-time.
